# Bot Profile

> Customize the Invaro bot's nickname, avatar, banner, and bio specifically for your server

Bot Profile lets you give the Invaro bot a unique identity within your server. You can set a server-specific nickname, upload a custom avatar, add a profile banner, and write a short bio. These changes only affect how the bot appears in your server — the global Invaro bot profile is untouched.

<Warning>
  **Invaro+ Feature:** Bot Profile Customization is available on Invaro+ and
  Invaro+ Boost plans only.

## Live Preview

The right-hand panel shows a real-time Discord-style preview that updates as you make changes. It simulates:

* The bot's profile card popup (with banner, avatar, name, APP badge, and bio)
* A sample message from the bot in a channel (showing avatar and nickname in context)

Toggle the preview on or off with the **Show/Hide Preview** button. The preview is approximate — exact rendering varies between Discord clients.

## Discarding Changes

If you've made changes you don't want to keep, click **Discard** before saving. This resets all fields to the last saved state. Once you click **Save Changes**, the previous state cannot be restored.

## Notes

* Images are uploaded as base64 data URLs and are subject to Discord's rate limits. If you encounter errors when saving, wait a moment and try again.
* Clearing an avatar or banner by clicking **×** and saving will reset those fields to the global Invaro defaults.
* The "About Me" bio is distinct from your server's bot description — it appears on the profile card popup only.

## Access Control

Only portal **Owners** and **Admins** can modify Bot Profile settings.
